He alleged persistent intimidation and harassment by the current administration. The presidency has rejected the claim and accused him of playing politics. Whether you support Obi or not, should opposition politicians in Nigeria be worried about their safety, or is this simply campaign rhetoric ahead of 2027?

Nigerian politics has always been tense. We have lost politicians before under suspicious circumstances, so I don't blame Obi for speaking out. Democracy only works when opposition candidates can campaign without fearing for their lives.
