Nah I don't buy the football comparison. Football has an actual skill ceiling and global relevance. BBN is just people arguing in a house for content. Both are "entertainment" but pretending they carry equal weight is a stretch.
Honestly this is giving "eat the cake Anna" energy and I'm here for it. People act like watching a reality show cancels out your ability to be angry about fuel prices. Both things fit in one brain at the same time, I promise.
I think the real issue isn't the show, it's how much MONEY and airtime it commands compared to actual journalism or civic content in this country. That's the "distraction" people are annoyed about, not individual viewers just vibing.
