A newly launched Nigerian airline has already experienced a runway excursion, thankfully with no injuries reported. Incidents like this are rare, but they immediately raise public confidence questions.
Do you think Nigeria's aviation sector is becoming safer overall, or do events like this show that regulators still have a lot of work to do?

This is why I only fly Ibom Air. New airlines still have a lot to prove.
Every airline builds trust over time. What's important is how they respond to incidents and whether regulators identify and address any underlying issues.
But I feel don't realize runway excursions happen all over the world. It doesn't automatically mean the aircraft was unsafe.
