Dollar rate will drop tomorrow and you will still see the same prices everywhere. Then the explanation will come. “We bought when dollar was high.” But funny enough, when dollar rises, prices adjust instantly. No grace period.
This mindset is why nothing ever balances. Businesses protect upside fast but delay relief for customers. Yes, inventory cost matters, but using old stock as a permanent excuse is lazy pricing. I'm fed up abeg. At some point, it stops being survival and starts looking like quiet opportunism.

Honestly both sides are right but businesses drag price reductions too much.
