Instead of building on what we inherited, we entered cycles of military rule, corruption, and bad leadership that kept setting us back. Oil came and rather than strengthen the economy, it made things worse by killing other sectors and concentrating power and money in the wrong places. Institutions that should have been strong became weak, and accountability slowly disappeared. It’s like every opportunity to move forward was either wasted or mismanaged.
Now fast forward to today, and you see the results. Insecurity, poor infrastructure, struggling education, and a general feeling that the country isn’t moving in the right direction. It’s frustrating because Nigeria isn’t lacking in talent or resources, it never has been. The real issue has always been leadership and direction. We didn’t have to end up here, but years of poor decisions and lack of long term thinking have brought us to this point.
And ALL APC CARES ABOUT IS WINNING THE ELECTIONS

The saddest part is we still have everything needed to succeed, but the systems to make it work have never really been stable since independence.
